Recognize and work from a historical and intergenerational trauma informed lens within Brainspotting.

Brainspotting is a brain-based therapy based on the hypothesis that specific eye positions designated as “brainspots” activate and access specific areas of the brain that allow for the reprocessing and releasing of core neurophysiological sources of emotion/body pain, trauma, dissociation, and other symptoms that may cause distress in daily living. This training with endeavor to deepen this work/process in a way that may help the client uncover historical roots related to familial and cultural historical experiences.
